Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of My PG Sathi, a PG management platform operated by My PG Sathi ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using My PG Sathi. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1 The Service

My PG Sathi provides an online platform for PG owners, hostel owners and coliving operators to manage tenants, track rent, record expenses, and view profit reports. The platform is accessible via web browser on mobile and laptop.

We reserve the right to modify, improve or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time with reasonable notice.

2 Account Registration

To use My PG Sathi, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address and phone number
• Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your PG business
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3 Subscription Plans & Payment

My PG Sathi offers paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) billed monthly or yearly. All plans include a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.

• After the free trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using premium features
• Payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Yearly plans are charged upfront for the full year at a discounted rate
• You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy

4 Acceptable Use

You agree to use My PG Sathi only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform to store false, fraudulent or misleading tenant information
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
• Use the platform for any purpose other than managing your legitimate PG business
• Violate any applicable Indian laws or regulations

5 Your Data

All data you enter into My PG Sathi — including tenant details, rent records and expenses — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your business data.

You are responsible for ensuring the data you enter is accurate and that you have proper consent from your tenants to store their information in our system.

You can export or download your data at any time from your account settings.

6 WhatsApp Notifications

My PG Sathi uses WhatsApp Business API to send rent reminders and payment receipts to your tenants. By enabling this feature, you confirm that:

• You have permission to contact your tenants via WhatsApp
• You will only use this feature for legitimate rent-related communications
• You will not use this feature to send spam or unsolicited messages

7 Service Availability

We aim to keep My PG Sathi available 24/7 but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, updates or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime. We will communicate major maintenance windows in advance.

8 Limitation of Liability

My PG Sathi is a tool to help you manage your PG business. We are not responsible for:

• Any business decisions you make based on the reports or data shown in the platform
• Loss of revenue due to platform downtime or technical issues
• Disputes between you and your tenants
• Incorrect data entered by you or your staff

Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the subscription amount paid by you in the last 3 months.

9 Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period
• Your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
• You can export your data before deletion

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate our Terms without refund.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of My PG Sathi shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.

11 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of important changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of My PG Sathi after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
